Challenges:
Traditionally in warehousing, workers print out purchase orders, open the carton to check whether the commodity type and quantity conform to those paper orders, put down details including wrong or unqualified deliveries, and then input those data into the company warehouse management system via PC. The process is time consuming, with a high error rate and a risk of fraud because of lacking supervision.

Solution:

Chainway handheld computer with advanced 1D/2D barcode scanning and RFID read/write capacities, fast and fluent 4G/3G/Wi-Fi wireless connectivity, clear color camera and great compatibility with other ERP systems has proved to solve these problems. It receives purchase orders from the company’s back-end server, scans products’ barcodes or RFID tags to make an automatic verification, then transfers this data wirelessly to the warehouse management system.
